Education

Rwth Stuckey is an ergonomist and OHS adviser with qualifications in occupational therapy, ergonomics and public health.

Research Interest and Experience

Rwth Stuckey has undertaken PhD studies at the Monash Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health (MonCOEH), Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University, examining risk and predictive factors in occupational light vehicle-use and related regulation and policy frameworks. She has worked as an OHS Consultant since 1982 and was the OHS and Injury Management Adviser at the Victorian Transport Accident Commission until 2009. She currently lectures in OHS, ergonomics and related legislation at Monash and Latrobe Universities. OHS projects have included the DDT trial with Australia Post in NSW; Problem Solving in Manual Handling training with the sugar industry, building material manufacturers, retail services, food manufacturing and smelter workers from across Australia; assessment of the OHS impact of the introduction of updated technology into Emergency Vehicles in Victoria and reviewing the impact of separate bundle system delivery on mail delivery.
