About the CentreThe National Research Centre for Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (NRCOHSR) is a research centre within the Regulatory Institutions Network, in the School of Regulation, Justice and Diplomacy, at The Australian National University. The Centre was established to conduct high quality, empirical and policy-focused research into OHS regulation. This research also informs government initiatives relating to the reform OHS legislation, inspection and enforcement, and contributes to measures to ensure the effectiveness and efficacy OHS regulation, and its positive impact on improving OHS outcomes in Australian workplaces. The Centre is co-directed by Professor Neil Gunningham and Adjunct Professor Richard Johnstone. Dr Liz Bluff is a Research Fellow with the Centre and Mr Harry Hobbs is the Centre’s Research Assistant. Mr Alan Clayton, Mr Neil Foster, Professor Andrew Hopkins and Professor Michael Quinlan are associate members of the Centre.
